Screen for Assistance

You can see if you may qualify for DoHS Programs and Services using Screen for Assistance. This tutorial will assist you with learning more about using Screen for Assistance. An account is not necessary to use this feature. To see if you may be eligible, click Find.

The Screen for Assistance Main page allows you to choose which programs you would like to see if you qualify for. As you select programs, the question categories appear in the navigation bar on the left.

As more programs are chosen, the question categories expand.

Click the Next button to move to the next set of questions.

Complete all questions in each category.

Once you have completed all the question categories, click the Submit button.

The Results tab will display any programs you selected and whether you may or may not qualify based on the information you provided.

For child care programs, a click here for a list of child care resources and referral agency areas hyperlink displays.

When clicked, a PDF of the child care resources opens in a new browser window.

There is also a button to go to the application if you would like to apply.
